11/2020 243343V03_EN 69
6.11 Tensioning the belt of the discharge conveyor
The belt of the discharge conveyor must be tensioned if it runs crooked or
slips.
Discharge conveyor at the front (fine adjustment):
b Loosen lock nuts 1 on both sides of the discharge conveyor.
b Screw in bolts 2 on both sides evenly.
b Tighten the lock nuts again.
Discharge conveyor at the rear (rough adjustment):
This adjustment is necessary if it is no longer possible to sufficiently adjust
the belt tension at the front side of the discharge conveyor.
b Unplug the connector of the discharge conveyor on the rear side of the
machine.
b Open the knife box door.
b Pull the discharge conveyor forwards off the two retaining rods and
store it in a safe location.
b Remove the belt of the discharge conveyor ( „Replacing belt of the
discharge conveyor“ on page 68).
b Loosen and unscrew bolts 3 on both sides of the discharge conveyor.
b Remove bolts with spring washers.
Note:
After loosening the screws, the drive motor sits loosely in the
mounting.
