Safety instructions for start-up
Risk of injury from unfastened components!
Before putting the machine into operation, check that all
installed components such as grids and cut-off knife are firmly
seated.
Check whether all grid blades are present, whether they are
sharp and whether they show any damage. The blades or the
grid must be changed if necessary.
Risk of injury due to defective safety switches!
The machine must not be put into operation if any safety switch
is defective.
Crushing hazard!
Covers that are not completely open can close on their own.
Limbs can be crushed in the process.
Open covers completely so that they noticeably engage.
Risk of injury on the upright knife!
If any safety switch has been actuated, the knife can come to a
stop in the shaft. You can injure yourself on the upright knife.
Note:
Defective safety switches may only be replaced by TREIF Cus-
tomer Service or a qualified electrician.
