8.1 Transport and unpacking
8.1.1 Transporting the machine to the installation site
b Comply with the safety instructions.
b Transport the machine in a horizontal position.
b Lift the machine in the packaging using a pallet truck or a forklift.
b Bring the machine as close as possible to the final place of installation.
8.1.2 Unpacking the machine
The machine is transported from the factory in secure packaging.
b Remove the packaging and examine the machine for any possible
transport damage.
If there is any transport damage, submit a written complaint to the car-
rier immediately.
b Compare the delivery with the delivery note.
8.2 Installation and connection
8.2.1 Installation
b Roll unpacked machine to the final place of installation.
Damage to the environment from hydraulic oil!
Hydraulic oil must not escape. Therefore, the machine must be
transported in a horizontal position.
Nevertheless, if hydraulic oil does escape, catch the oil and dis-
pose of it properly.
Hydraulic oil must never get into the waste water.
Damage to the machine due to improper transport!
Do not lift the machine by the knife box.
