as well as for the owner.

Safety instructions for maintenance
Note:
The owner must compile an operating instruction that sets out
the responsibilities for the maintenance.
The maintenance work described in chapter „Maintenance
overview“ on page 61 is indispensable for the safety of the
operating personnel and functionality of the machine. There-
fore, as the owner, have the completed inspection confirmed.
You will find a template for the proof of maintenance in chapter
„Appendix“ on page 83.
Danger
Risk of cutting yourself on the knife!
Always wear the specified protective equipment when carrying
out any work in the open cutting chamber and when handling
the knife!

Only store the dismantled knives at secured places.
Note:
Always clean the knife before you sharpen it.
Note:
Check the function of the safety switches after all maintenance
and repair work. ( „Test run“ on page 54).

Risk of fatal injury from electric shock!
Before starting any maintenance and repair work on the
machine, the main power supply must be disconnected and
secured against unintended reconnection.
