4.14 Installing the grating disc or stop disc (optional)
Do not install the grating disc or stop disc until the cutting unit has been in-
stalled.
b Slide the grating disc or stop disc onto the knife shaft 1.
b Tighten the central lock by hand. Then tighten it again slightly with the
provided spanner.
b Check that the grating disc or the stop disc runs freely.
Check that the grating disc or the stop disc runs freely:
b Hold the grating disc or stop disc at the handle and turn it anti-clockwise
over the grid.
The grating disc or stop disc must not scrape on the grid; you must ad-
just the spacing between grid and grating disc or stop disc, if necessary
(☞ „Adjustment of the grating disc“ on page 46).
Attention, high risk of cutting yourself on the stop disc and
on the grating disc!
Always wear the mandatory protective equipment when carry-
ing out work in the open cutting chamber and when handling the
grating discs or stop discs (☞ „Protective equipment“ on page
4).
Only store dismantled grating discs or stop discs in secured
places.
