J3
This is the remote control power down input connection from the rear panel of the Power Supply
module. This connects to J6 on the Power Supply board.
J4
This connection provides the watch-dog output signal to the Power Supply board. This connects to
J5 on the Power Supply board.
J5
This connection is the input power supply connection from the Power Supply board. This connects
to J3 on the Power Supply board.
J6
This is the JTAG connector and is used by USI factory personnel for initial startup of the Interface
board. This connection is not used in the field.
JS1 JS4
These are used to attached the Alarm Output board (see Section 1.2.3) to the Interface board.
D1
This LED indicates output voltage from the DC-to-DC converter on the Interface board.
D4 (BOOT DONE)
This LED indicates the Interface board processor has successfully booted and is operating
normally. Illuminated is the normal condition.
D5 (SHUT DOWN)
This LED indicates the watch-dog signal has been sent.
JP1
These pins are shorted by factory personnel for initial startup of the Interface board. The normal
state for this jumper is open.
1.2.3 Alarm Output Board
The Alarm Output board contains eight Form-C relays and is used to provide status signals of the
overall DME system to an alarm annunciator or SCADA. This is a daughter-board which connects
to the Interface board.
