Troubleshooting
E3237 Incorrect Reel
Size
The size of one or more reels of ribbon loaded onto the 
cassette is incorrect.
Remove the cassette and check that the ribbon waste core has
been fitted and that the ribbon rolls are within the supported
limits.
Refit the cassette and then press the Clear button. The printer
will then automatically calibrate.The size of one or more of
the reels of ribbon loaded onto the cassette is out of range.
The printer supports a reel diameter of up to 110mm for 
normal operation, and a maximum diameter of 85mm when
High Throughput mode is enabled. Also ensure that an
empty core has been fitted to the waste mandrel.
Refit the cassette and then press the Clear button. The printer
will then automatically calibrate.
E3238 Dirty iAssure
Sensor
The iAssure Light box and Sensor is dirty or obstructed and
this is likely to cause the iAssure system to fail images that
have printed correctly.
Remove the ribbon cassette, wipe clean the printhead, light
box, sensor and check for obstructions.
When the iAssure sensor is clean and unobstructed the light
box will stop flashing.
Press the Clear button.
If the problem persists, contact your maintenance engineer.

Ribbon Width
The iAssure system has measured a ribbon width that is
significantly different to the ribbon width setting.
Please navigate to Tools -> Setup -> Consumables and ensure
that the “Ribbon Width” setting is configured correctly.
If the setting is correct remove the ribbon cassette, wipe clean
the printhead, light box and check for obstructions.
Press the Clear button below.
E3240 iAssure Sensor
Failure
The printer has detected a failure of the iAssure sensor. Please
check its cabling, connectors and housing for any obvious
damage and repair if necessary.
E3241 iAssure
Lightbox
Failure
The printer has detected a failure of the iAssure lightbox.
Please check its lightbox cabling, connectors and housing for
any obvious damage and repair if necessary.
E3242 iAssure
Lightbox
Overheated
The iAssure lightbox has overheated.
Ensure the lightbox is correctly assembled and mounted to
the printer, allow the printer to cool down and restart the
printer.
If the problem persists, contact your maintenance engineer.
