Installation must be performed by specialised staff:
1. Set up the controller on an even and adequately load-bearing surface, mount on a tripod
or install it on a production line/wall with the optional available mounting brackets.
To mount the controller on a tripod on a production line or wall, 4 threaded inserts
are provided on the underside of the fork mount.
2. Compare the mains data with the technical data of the controller.

3. Connect the mains cable to the mains socket (Fig. 23/1) of the controller.
4. Insert the mains plug into an earthed wall socket.
5. If a rotary Encoder is installed, connect the rotary Encoder cable to the ENCODER socket
(Fig. 23/2) and tighten.
6. Connect the light barrier cable to the SENSOR socket (Fig. 23/3) and tighten.
7. Connect the print head cable of the first head (upper head) to the HEAD 1 socket (Fig.
23/4) and tighten.
8. Connect the print head cable of the second head to the HEAD 2 socket (Fig. 23/5) and
tighten. Further print heads can be connect accordingly.
If only one print head is used, the other connection is not used.
9. If a traffic light (accessory) is installed, connect the traffic light cable to the Alarm socket
(Fig. 23/6) and tighten.
10. If external inputs are installed, connect the input cable to the Extern socket (Fig. 23/7)
tighten.
