[2] PREPARATION
(1) Separating Engine from Tractor
Mid Mount ROPS [If Equipped]
CAUTION
To avoid personal injury:
Adjust free fall after confirming that no bystanders are
nearby.
Sudden movement may occur as a result of improper
adjustment.
1. Disconnect the front combination lamp lead wire and frame
earth cable.
2. Remove the upper frame mounting bolts and nuts, then remove
the front upper frame (2).
3. Remove the front frame mounting bolts, then remove the front
frames (3).
4. Remove the front lower frame mounting bolts and nuts, then
remove the front lower frame (5).

Bonnet, Front Grille, Side Cover and Battery Negative Cable
1. Open the bonnet (2) and remove the front grille (1).
2. Disconnect the battery negative cable (4).
3. Disconnect the head light connectors, horn connectors and
remove the bonnet (2).
4. Remove the side covers (3).
NOTE
When disconnecting the battery cables, disconnect the
negative cable (4) first. When connecting, positive cable
first.

77.5 to 90.1 N·m
7.9 to 9.2 kgf·m
58.0 to 66.0 lbf·ft
Front frame mounting bolt
(M14, 9T)
167 to 196 N·m
17.0 to 20.0 kgf·m
123 to 145 lbf·ft
Upper frame mounting bolt
(M16, 7T)
196 to 225 N·m
20.0 to 23.0 kgf·m
145 to 166 lbf·ft
