Front Axle Assembly
1. Remove the front axle brackets (Front side and rear side)
mounting screws.
2. Separating the front axle from the front axle frame.
(When reassembling)
• After mounting the front axle assembly to the front axle frame,
be sure to adjust the front axle rocking force. (See page 6-S4.)
• Apply grease to the splines of the propeller shaft and coupling.

(2) Disassembling Front Axle
Tie-rod and Axle Bracket
1. Remove the slotted nuts and remove the tie-rod (3) with a
tie-rod end lifter.
2. Remove the front axle brackets (1), (2).
(When reassembling)
• Apply grease to the thrust collars (4), (9), O-ring (6), (7), bushes
(5), (8) and oil seal (10).
• After tightening the slotted nut (11) to the specified torque,
install the cotter pin as shown in the figure.
