NOTE
When the Scanner detects the original, it will feed it a short distance and stop
briefly, then complete the scan automatically.
3. The scanner is equipped with Front Return Guides so that the original will exit toward
the front of the machine. You may wish to guide the lead edge of the original as it
travels toward you.
NOTE
Remove the Front Return Guides guides before copying an original that may
not flex and flow easily along them. This will prevent the guides from falling off
of the machine and getting damaged.
4. Make the required media settings on the User Interface and scan your original.
Refer to Chapter 3 Copying Procedures for details on media source selections.
Loading Cut Sheet Media
1. Slowly pull out the Media Drawer towards you until it stops.
2. Load the paper in the tray below the Max Fill Line located on the back of the tray.
3. Squeeze the left and right Paper Guide Levers and adjust the guides to match the
size of your paper.
