7-2 Cooling water temperature alarm
A water temperature lamp and water temperature gauge,
backed up by
an alarm in the instrument panel, are used
to monitor the temperature
of the engine cooling water.
A high thermal expansion material is set on the end of the
water temperature unit. When the cooling water tem-
perature reaches a specified high temperature, the con-
tacts are closed, and an alarm lamp and
buzzer are
activated at the instrument panel.

7-3 Sender unit for lube oil pressure gauge
The sender unit for the lube oil pressure gauge has a
mounting seat for mounting on the lube oil filter bracket.
Oil pressure
is measured when the oil enters into the main
gallery after being fed from the lube oil cooler and passina
through the oil pressure control valve
Be sure to mount a
vibration damper when mounting the oil pressure sender
unit.
