1.2 Features
The ZIP2x2 and ZIP2x1 are SIP based IP phones with a large number of features. The top of the
phone is shown in figure 1-1; the top and side panels are shown in figure 1-2. The ZIP2x2 phone
is referred to as a “two by two” because it has two call appearances and two Ethernet circuits. The
ZIP2x1 phone is referred to as a “two by one” because it has two call appearances and a single
Ethernet circuit
Key features of the ZIP2x2 and ZIP2x1 phones include:
• two virtual lines support two simultaneous calls
• handset and speaker modes
• acoustic echo cancellation in speaker mode provides high quality speaker phone
