seconds after the other party disconnects from the call. Select Silent to program the phone to
disconnect the phone without playing any tone. Section 8.4.5.5 on page 94 describes the
equivalent menu command.
Second call tone. This parameter determines the sound that the phone plays when you receive a
call while you are talking on the phone. When you select custom, you must select the WAV file
that provides the custom sound in the adjacent data entry box. Section 8.4.5.6 on page 94
describes the equivalent menu command.
Hold reminder tone. This parameter determines the sound that your phone plays periodically
when you have a call on hold. Section 8.4.5.7 on page 95 describes the equivalent menu command.
Key click. This parameter determines the sound that your phone plays when you press a button
when the phone is off hook. Section 8.4.5.8 on page 95 describes the equivalent menu command.
Startup Tone. This parameter specifies the tone that the phone emits when you power up the
phone. Section 8.4.5.9 on page 96 describes the equivalent menu command.
E.5.4 Regional Settings
The Regional Settings panel, as shown in figure E-14, sets country, language, time format, and
date format parameters for the phone. To access the Regional Settings panel, select
User Settings | Regional Settings from the interface menu. After adjusting the settings, press the
Update button to store the changes to the phone.
The Regional Settings panel displays the configuration options for the following parameters:
Country. This selection determines the tones that the phone generates for call progress tones: dial
tone, ringback tone, busy tone, and network busy tone (congestion). Select the desired country in
the data entry box. Section 8.4.7.1 on page 100 describes the equivalent menu command.
