E.6.1 Network Setup
The Network Setup panel determines the network mode of the phone and provides parameter
settings that incorporate the phone into your network.
Default Gateway. This parameter is the IP address of the default gateway. The phone uses the
address entered in this box if DHCP mode is not enabled (IP communications panel) or DHCP
does not return a value for the default gateway. Section 8.5.2.4 on page 106 describes the
equivalent menu command.
Primary DNS Server. This parameter is the IP address of primary DNS Server. The phone uses the
address entered in this box if DHCP mode is not enabled (IP communications panel) or DHCP
does not return a value for the primary DNS server. Section 8.5.2.5 on page 107 describes the
equivalent menu command.
Secondary DNS Server. This parameter is the IP address of secondary DNS Server. The phone uses
the address entered in this box if DHCP mode is not enabled (IP communications panel) or DHCP
does not return a value for the secondary DNS server. Section 8.5.2.6 on page 107 describes the
equivalent menu command.
NTP Server. This parameter is the IP address of secondary DNS Server. The phone uses the
address entered in this box if DHCP mode is not enabled (IP communications panel) or DHCP
does not return a value for the secondary DNS server. Section 8.5.2.7 on page 107 describes the
equivalent menu command.
