3. A “confirmation” screen displays when
the learn routine begins.
n A series of “instructional” screens
display while the procedure is in
progress. Perform the following
when prompted:
- Press and hold the accelerator
pedal.
- Release the accelerator pedal.
n A “results” screen displays when the
learn procedure has completed.
4. Choose Finish to return to the Special
Functions menu.
Manual DPF Regeneration (001)
The Manual DPF Regeneration function lets you perform the Diesel
Particulate Filter (DPF) regeneration procedure.
1. Select Manual DPF Regeneration in the Special Functions menu,
then press ENTER .
n An “instructional” screen displays. Prepare the vehicle for test as
directed:
- Start and idle the engine.
2. Choose Yes to continue.
n A “status” screen displays while a
vehicle status check is performed.
3. An “informational” screen displays, and
engine speed increases.
4. When engine speed returns to normal,
choose Finish to return to the Special
Functions menu.
Manual DPF Regeneration (002)
The Manual DPF Regeneration function lets you perform the Diesel
Particulate Filter (DPF) regeneration procedure.
1. Select Manual DPF Regeneration in the Special Functions menu,
then press ENTER .
n An “instructional” screen displays. Prepare the vehicle for test as
directed:
- Start and idle the engine.
2. Choose Yes to continue.
n A “status” screen displays while a vehicle status check is
performed.
