- Accelerate to wide open throttle,
and hold until fuel cutoff occurs,
then release the accelerator.
n The message “Test in progress…”
shows while the “learn” procedure is
in progress.
n When the procedure is complete, the
message “Learn Status: Success”
shows.
4. Choose Exit to return to the ECM
Special Functions menu.
HO2S Learn Sensor
The HO2S Learn Sensor function lets you
perform the “learning” procedure for a
selected oxygen sensor heater.
1. Select HO2S Learn Sensor in the ECM Special Functions menu,
then press ENTER .
n The Select Sensor screen displays.
2. Select the oxygen sensor you wish to
reset, then choose Reset.
n A “status” screen displays the
Commanded State as Reset while
the reset is in progress.
3. When the reset is complete, the
Commanded State returns to None.
n Repeat step 2 to reset additional
oxygen sensors.
4. Choose Exit to return to the ECM Special Functions menu.
Honda System & Actuator Tests
Depending on the vehicle under test, the
Active Test menu provides access to one or
more of the following tests:
n O2 Test
n EGR Test
n VTC Test
n IACV Test
n EVAP Test
If an error occurs while performing any function, an “advisory”
message displays. Choose Exit to return to the ECM Special
Functions menu.
