4. Choose Finish to return to the Special
Functions menu.
Switched Max Operating Speed Enable
The Switch Max Operating Speed Enable function lets you set the
maximum allowable vehicle speed.
1. Select Switched Max Operating Speed Enable in the Special
Functions menu, then press ENTER .
n An “instructional” screen displays. Prepare the vehicle for test as
directed:
- Turn the ignition on. DO NOT start the engine.
2. Choose Yes to continue.
n A “status” screen displays while a vehicle status check is
performed.
3. The Current Maximum Vehicle Speed screen displays. The screen
shows the Current Max Veh Speed, Min Allowable Veh Speed and
Max Allowable Veh Speed.
n To keep the current maximum vehicle speed and return to the
Special Functions menu, choose
Exit.
n To set a new maximum vehicle
speed, note the Max Allowable Veh
Speed value, then choose Next.
The Enter Value screen displays.
4. Enter the desired maximum allowable
vehicle speed, then choose Next.
5. A “confirmation” screen displays when
the routine begins.
n A “results” screen displays when the
routine has completed.
6. Choose Finish to return to the Special
Functions menu.
