LABEL DESCRIPTION
ACTIVE Select this check box to activate the VLAN settings.
Name Enter a descriptive name for the VLAN group for identification purposes. This name consists of up
to 64 printable characters. Spaces are allowed.
VLAN Group ID Enter the VLAN ID for this static entry; the valid range is between 1 and 4094.
Note: Do NOT add a VLAN ID that has been used in the Voice VLAN Setup.
VLAN Type Select Normal (static) or Private. For Private VLANs, select Primary, Isolated or Community.
Association
VLAN List
Primary private VLANs can associate with several (secondary) Community private VLANs and up
to one (secondary) Isolated private VLAN.
You only configure VLAN Association List for Primary private VLANs. Use a dash to associate
consecutive VLANs and a comma (no spaces) to associate non-consecutive VLANs. For
example, 51–53 includes 51, 52 and 53, but 51,53 does not include 52.
Secondary private VLANs can only be associated with one primary private VLAN.
SLOT This field appears only in stacking mode. Click the drop-down list to choose the slot number of
the Switch in a stack.
