NOTE: Never start percussion with the drill bit free without any resistance.
1.
Operate the feeder until the spike is approx. 10 cm from the rock.
2.
Make sure that the rotation lever is in neutral.
3.
Move the drill bit forward until it is pressed against the rock.
4.
Switch on high percussion pressure for several seconds.
5.
Switch off the percussion when the chuck has loosened.
6.
Unscrew the old drill bit by hand and replace with a new one.
