5. If the DEFINITY system Port State does not change. Reset the link by
pressing the button on the “CV/LAN Port Status/Control” Screen.
This will reset the protocol stack associated with this particular link.

Avaya support services for the MAPD system will not troubleshoot a
customer LAN. If the customer LAN is experiencing difficulties, customers should
follow the escalation path supplied by their LAN provider.
