Proper setting of the Stow Position is essential for all AvL antenna systems, as some models use non-
standard type mounting designs. The manual provided with every AvL antenna system provides details
on how the Stow Position should be determined for that antenna.
Once the antenna has been manually placed in the correct Stow Position, the Azimuth, Elevation and
Polarization Stow Position parameter values with Type = Float should be set to match the appropriate
Pedestal angle displayed at that position.
The Azimuth Stow Position parameter with Type = Float, tells the AAQ what position in degrees that the
Stow Routine will be performed.
The Auto Stow On Movement parameter is reserved for vehicular mount antennas. If this is enabled,
any information from the system GPS indicating vehicle motion above a set speed will activate the
antenna stow routine. Speed indication units are determined by the GPS settings.
