Chapter 4 - AAQ Remote .NET GUI
This chapter is intended to familiarize the user with the various graphical views and associate functions of the
AAQ Remote.NET interface.
4.1 Introduction
The AvL Technologies’ Graphical User Interface (GUI) is designed for use with the AAQ controller system and
uses the Microsoft .NET 3.5 framework. This framework allows the use of the AAQ Remote GUI across most
Microsoft operating systems: Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, and
Windows XP (provided XP users have proper service packs, updates, framework, and settings).
The AAQ system relies on an Ethernet (RJ45/Wireless/etc.) connection from the PC to the controller’s ACU
module. Once properly connected, the AAQ Remote GUI will provide communication with the AAQ
controller and allow the user to monitor, configure & control the positioner.
