8.2.3 Verifying Connections
If the Addressing appears to be correct, continue with the following steps:
1. Verify the Ethernet cable from the pedestal to the PC is present.
2. Open the client computers command prompt (cmd).
3. Ping the ACU, i.e. (ping 192.168.129.51. , Service IP)
4. If ping responds with replies. Contact AvL to ensure the correct GUI is installed in the AAQ Version
Info found in HELP>VERSION tab.
5. Contact AvL support to assist in reinstalling ROM software if necessary.
6. If ping does not respond, ensure power is present by checking power supply and re-checking control
cable connections.

8.2.4 ACU communication to RIOMs
Communication between the GUI and RIOM’s are indicated by a series of LED’s located in the bottom of
the GUI. Green indicates communication is present, while gray indicates no communications are
present.
