1.1.3 Measuring Geometries
The hardware and software of the measuring system SENSseries
LB 480 allow for an easy adaptation of the system to different mea-
suring geometries and measuring tasks. Therefore, the settings and
parameters of the measuring device have to be defined with care
during commissioning for the particular measuring task.
Commissioning log Important parameters may not be changed during operation. The
system must be taken into operation and settings changed only by
persons who know how to work with the device. Therefore, all users
should read these User’s Manual carefully. BERTHOLD
TECHNOLOGIES, therefore, recommends documenting all settings
in a setup protocol.
Project planning The best system configuration is selected for each measuring task
in the planning stage. Therefore, the specific project documentation
has to be observed and followed.
