4 Quick Guide to Calibration
Prerequisites • The detector is installed and is supplied from the mains.
• The factory setting of parameters have not been changed yet.
Otherwise, perform a factory reset (see chapter 5.1.1).
• The user is familiar with the basic calibration of a radiometric
measurement.
• The user is aware of the risks of incorrect calibration.
• Communication with the HART
®
Communicator is established.
The following calibration is based on a two-point calibration, which
requires an empty and a full calibration.
Tip
Set the date and time when the error message 105 appears.
 Select the menu item Quick Start: Device Config  Setup 
QuickStart.
Step 1 - Date/Time  Check and update the date.
 Check and update the time.
Step 2 - Setup  Select Nuclide: Cs-137 or Co-60 (see type plate of the source
shielding).
