To display summary neighbor information, enter a command such as the following at any level of the CLI.

This eld Displays
IP Address The IP address of the neighbor.
Routes Received How many routes the device has received from the neighbor during
the current BGP4 session:
• Accepted or Installed - Number of received routes the device
accepted and installed in the BGP4 route table.
• Filtered or Kept - Number of routes that were ltered out, but
were retained in memory for use by the soft reconguration
feature.
• Filtered - Number of received routes ltered out.
Routes Selected as BEST Routes The number of routes that the device selected as the best routes to
their destinations.
BEST Routes not Installed in IP Forwarding Table The number of routes received from the neighbor that are the best
BGP4 routes to their destinations, but were not installed in the IP
route table because the device received better routes from other
sources (such as OSPF, RIP, or static IP routes).
Unreachable Routes The number of routes received from the neighbor that are
unreachable because the device does not have a valid RIP, OSPF, or
static route to the next-hop.
History Routes The number of routes that are down but are being retained for route
ap dampening purposes.
NLRIs Received in Update Message The number of routes received in Network Layer Reachability (NLRI)
format in UPDATE messages:
• Withdraws - Number of withdrawn routes the device has
received.
• Replacements - Number of replacement routes the device has
received.
NLRIs Discarded due to Indicates the number of times the device discarded an NLRI for the
neighbor due to the following reasons:
• Maximum Prex Limit - The congured maximum prex
amount had been reached.
