The regular-expressionregular-expression parameter is a regular expression. The regular expressions are the same ones supported for
BGP4 AS-path lters.
The address mask parameters specify a particular route. If you also use the optional longer-prexes parameter, all statistics for routes
that match the specied route or have a longer prex than the specied route are displayed. For example, if you specify 10.157.0.0
longer , all routes with the prex 10.157 or that have a longer prex (such as 10.157.22) are displayed.
The neighborip-addr parameter displays route ap dampening statistics only for routes learned from the specied neighbor. You can
also display route ap statistics for routes learned from a neighbor by entering the show ip bgp neighbor ap-statistics command.
The lter-listnum parameter species one or more lters. Only routes that have been dampened and that match the specied lters are
displayed.
TABLE 101 show ip bgp ap-statistics output descriptions
This eld Displays
Total number of apping routes The total number of routes in the BGP4 route table that have changed
state and have been marked as apping routes.
Status code The dampening status of the route, which can be one of the following:
• > - This is the best route among those in the BGP4 route table
to the route destination.
• d - This route is currently dampened, and thus unusable.
• h - The route has a history of apping and is unreachable now.
• * - The route has a history of apping but is currently usable.
Network The destination network of the route.
From The neighbor that sent the route to this device.
Flaps The number of aps (state changes) the route has experienced.
Since The amount of time since the rst ap of this route.
Reuse The amount of time remaining until this route will be un-suppressed and
thus be usable again.
Path The AS-path information for the route.
You can display all dampened routes by entering the show ip bgp dampened-paths command.
Displaying the active route map conguration
You can view the active route map conguration (contained in the running conguration) without displaying the entire running
conguration by entering the following command at any level of the CLI.
device# show route-map
route-map permitnet4 permit 10
match ip address prefix-list plist1
route-map permitnet1 permit 1
match ip address prefix-list plist2
route-map setcomm permit 1
set community 1234:2345 no-export
route-map test111 permit 111
match address-filters 11
set community 11:12 no-export
route-map permit1122 permit 12
match ip address 11
route-map permit1122 permit 13
match ip address std_22
