Wrinkle / Image Migration
Phenomenon
Banding shadows of different optical density appear due to the wrinkle, image migration and color
misregistration occurring on the print paper as shown in print sample [5] of Fig.9-1.
Main Causes
(1) Paper in use is not a recommended paper, or is an abandoned paper.
(2) The back cover ASSY PU is not locked properly.
(3) Fuser roller is deformed or reaches to the end of life.
(4) One side of fusing unit FU is lifted when installed.

Countermeasures
(1) Use a recommended paper or fresh paper from a paper bag.
(2) Push the back cover ASSY PU and ensure the locking at the both sides (left and right).
(3) Confirm that the fusing unit FU is installed properly and fixed with the lock lever lock lever
of the left and right.
(4) Replace the fusing unit FU with a new unit FU.
