4 GETTING STARTED WITH THE USER INTERFACE
The ICEfx™ Cryoablation System provides a graphical user interface that facilitates rapid
communication between the user and the system through a touch screen interface.
This chapter provides information to help familiarize the user with the software user interface.
Refer to Chapter 5 for detailed guidance on how to perform Needle Integrity and Functionality Testing
and conduct a cryoablation procedure.
4.1 Document Conventions
Throughout the User Manual typeset conventions represent various user interface sections, software
buttons, positions, and steps.

4.2 Logging In
When the system is powered on, the Login Screen appears after the boot-up process is complete.
To login, enter the Username and Password, and then press Login.
4.3 Navigating the User Interface
4.3.1 Setup and Gas Venting Wizards
The software provides wizards to guide the user through each of the steps involved with starting or
ending a cryoablation procedure.
The Setup wizard appears when START CASE is pressed and guides the user through system set up
including needle connection and testing. To skip the wizard, press SKIP SETUP WIZARD.
The Gas Venting wizard appears when END CASE is pressed and instructs the user on how
to properly vent the system and disconnect the argon gas supply line. To skip the wizard, press
RETURN HOME.
