4.8.1 Control Buttons
Table 4-13 describes the control buttons on the Settings Screen.

Button Description
ADMIN
Press ADMIN to access the administrative features. Reference
Section 4.9 for more information.
NOTE: The ADMIN options are only available to administrative and
service users.
EXPORT LOGS Press EXPORT LOGS to export the logs to a USB drive.
CLEAR HOSPITAL DATA
Press CLEAR HOSPITAL DATA to clear the hospital name, address,
and physician name from the system history le.
CANCEL Press CANCEL to discard any changes and to exit the screen.
CONFIRM Press CONFIRM to conrm all setting changes.
4.9 Administrative Options
To display the administrative options:
1. Press and select Settings from the expanded menu to display the Settings Screen.
2. Press the ADMIN button.
The sections which follow describe the available administrative options.
4.9.1 Software Update
Two options are available for performing software updates:
• Remote Upload/Download
• Manual Software Update
4.9.1.1 Remote Upload/Download
Select the Remote Upload/Download option to connect to a Galil Medical server to remotely upload
procedure reports or download system software versions.
NOTE: When Remote Upload/Download is used to upload procedure reports to the Galil server, the
data are encrypted to protect the privacy of patient health information.
1. Press the ADMIN button on the Settings Screen.
2. Press Software Update.
3. Select the Network option.
4. Connect the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port.
5. Press Start.
