8 TROUBLESHOOTING
Galil Medical suggests the following options for troubleshooting the ICEfx™ Cryoablation System. If
the suggested approaches do not resolve the issue, contact Galil Medical Customer Service.
8.1 Software Recovery
In the event of software corruption or failure, the software may be restored to the previous software
version. Administrative and service users may update the software with an appropriate Galil Medical
USB ash drive.
1. Shutdown the Console.
2. Hold down the Software Reset button by inserting a straightened paper clip into the Software
Reset hole while simultaneously powering up the system. The system displays the Software
Recovery Screen.
3. Press the Rollback button to restore the software to the previous software version.
4. OPTIONAL: Press the Load button to update the software if a message displayed on the Login
Screen indicating that the software conguration is invalid.
5. If updating the software to a newer version available on a USB ash drive.
Login as an administrative user.
Select Settings from the Options Menu.
Press the ADMIN button on the Settings Screen.
Press the Software Update button.
Select the manual software update option.
Insert the USB ash drive.
NOTE: Wait 20 seconds for the system to recognize the ash drive.
Press the Browse button.
Select the le to conduct the upgrade.
Press the Update button.
NOTE:
o Wait until a displayed message conrms completion of the update.
o The upgrade may take half an hour to complete.
