Table 4-6. Timer Information
# Control Description
1 Mode
The upper left portion of the timer displays information relevant to the current
function:
Freezing — Displays the freeze intensity.
Thawing — Displays the thaw mode (i-Thaw or FastThaw).
Cautery — Displays the cautery duration.

Temperature
Indicator
For CX needles, the upper right portion of the timer displays temperature data
for the current function:
Testing — Displays the needle temperature.
Freezing — Displays the internal gas temperature at the needle tip.
Thawing — Displays the estimated temperature range of the needle
shaft.
NOTE: During the needle warming phase, the timer displays a rotating
warming indicator.
Cautery — Displays the estimated temperature range of the needle shaft.
NOTE: During the needle warming phase, the timer displays a rotating
warming indicator.
3 Timer
The timer displays the elapsed time during freezing or thawing. The timer
counts down from two minutes during testing. The timer counts down from the
selected duration during cautery.
The color of the timer digits corresponds to the selected function:
Green = Testing
Blue = Freezing
Orange = FastThaw
Yellow = i-Thaw
Pink = Cautery

Bar
A color coded progress indicator beneath the elapsed time indicates the type
and duration of the functions performed on the respective channel.
The segment color indicates the function:
Blue = Freezing
Orange = FastThaw
Yellow = i-Thaw
Pink = Cautery
The length of a segment is relative to the elapsed time for the respective
function.
