4.6.7 Advanced Channel Controls
The Advanced Channel Controls provide options to change the needle type for the selected channel,
retest a needle, and program multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
4.6.7.1 Select Needle Type Control
1. To select or change the needle type for a channel, press the Channel button to display the
needle type list.

2. Select the proper needle type from the list.
4.6.7.2 Retest a Needle
To retest a needle, press the Channel button and then press to initiate a needle retest.
4.6.7.3 Program Cycles Control
Each freeze-thaw cycle consists of a freeze cycle followed by a thaw cycle. Using the Program Cycles
Control, the user can program multiple freeze-thaw cycles for an individual channel or for all active
channels simultaneously.
Each programmed cycle consists of one or more steps. Each step represents a freeze or thaw cycle
that is set for a specic running time.
To run a saved cycle sequence:
1. To run a saved cycle sequence, press the individual channel button or the ALL channel button,
and then press PROGRAM CYCLES.
2. The Program Cycles dialog displays. Select the desired cycle sequence from the list and press
LOAD.

3. Press START to initiate the cycle.
