Message Reason for Appearance / Solutions
40-05 Used Needle
• This needle has been previously used
• Replace with a new needle
Reason for Appearance:
The software prevents needle reuse and
identied a needle previously used. The
channel will be disabled until a new needle
is connected.
Solutions:
1. Disconnect and segregate the needle.
2. Replace with a new needle.
40-06 Corrupt Memory
• Needle Memory chip is corrupt on Channel X
• Manually select the needle type
Reason for Appearance:
User connected a needle containing a bad
memory chip.
Solutions:
Manually select the needle type using the
drop-down menu.
40-07 Passive Thaw Required
• The currently selected needle on channel [x] does
not have i-Thaw capability
• Passive thaw is required on this channel
Reason for Appearance:
• Combinations of needles that are
i-Thaw capable and that are not i-Thaw
capable were connected to the needle
connection panel.
OR
• Passive thaw is required.
Solutions:
• Wait for ice to passively thaw.
40-08 i-Thaw Error
• Channel [Xa or Xb] i-Thaw needle is defective for
electrical thawing
• Use passive thaw
Reason for Appearance:
An i-Thaw needle was identied as not
i-Thaw operational.
Solutions:
• Use passive thawing.
