When you are on a trip or in a situation where you
cannot easiiy charge the battery pack, it is
recommended that you turn off the LCD monitor and
instead use the opticai viewfinder to conserve battery
power. (P12)

Paraiiax is the difference between the image produced by the opticai viewfinder and the image
captured by the camera. This difference is particuiariy noticeabie at ciose distances. Use the LCD
monitor for taking macro photographs.
• When the macro mode is entered, the LCD monitor, if off, is automatically turned on.
