Balance
Adjustment
Unlike
the
human
eye
that
automatically
adjusts
for
differences
in
ambient
light,
the
CCD
in
a
camera
must
be
adjusted
for
the
colors
of
the
light
source
to
render
white
as
white.
Thus
sunlight,
interior
incandescent
lighting,
interior
fluorescent
lighting,
etc.
all
require
different
white
balance
settings.
Set
white
balance
as
dictated
by
the
light
source.
White
balance
types
(AUTO)
Automatically
set
the
white
balance
according
to
the
light
source.

the
LCD
monitor.

In
a
scene
with
many
different
light
sources,
use
the
following
procedure
to
make
an
accurate
white
balance
setting.

ress
the
±
WB
ISO
button
and
select
“WB"
using
or
on
the
•”
button.

ress
the
"a”
button
to
select

SET”
and
press
the
“jM”
button.
The
[PRESET
WB7]
screen
appears.

B
ring
the
camera
close
enough
to
a
white
card
or
similar
object
you
want
to
use
as
a
reference
for
white
so
that
it
fills
the
entire
screen
then
select
[SET]
and
press
the
“aI"
button.

camera
returns
to
the
screen
shown
in
step
2.)
TpsI
indicates
a
manually
set
white
balance.

the

WB
ISO
button
to
return
to
the
exposure
screen
and
complete
the
setting.
This
manual
white
balance
setting
Is
stored
and
used
for
subsequent
shooting.
Change
the
setting
when
the
light
source
changes.
