Figure 3.7-4 Own Breaker BF trip1 (Failure trip) Logic
When 50BF_Enable=1 and 50BF_BFTr_Ena=1, if the 50BF_CBFState =1, also the 50BF_ExtStr1
and last for time delay 50BF_BFTr_T, the BF trip1 logic is met and the relay will send
50BF_BFTrOp signal. The BF trip1 logic only be used before the external mechanical equipment
has checked the CB is failure, it means that if the status is happened after the 50BF_CBF=1 and
last for 50BF_Fault_T, the BF trip1 logic will be blocked. A typical setting of 50BF_BFTr_T is
90...150 ms.
3.7.2.5 BF trip Backup CB Logic (Electrically-adjacent Breaker Failure)
Figure 3.7-5 Adjacent Breaker BF trip2 (Failure trip) Logic
The BF trip2 logic provides the 50BF_BFTrBu_Op output which can be used to trip the upstream
backup circuit breaker when the main circuit breaker fails to clear the fault. When 50BF_Enable=1
and 50BF_BFTrBu_Ena=1, if the 50BF_CBFState =1, also the 50BF_ExtStr1 and last for time
delay 50BF_BFTrBu_T; or the 50BF_ExtStr1=1, the 50BF_CBF signal is 1 and last for
50BF_Fault_T, the BF trip2 logic is met. A typical setting of 50BF_BFTrBu_T is 90...150 ms.
