2.7.2 Indications on noise levels produced by the machine
The noise emitted by the machine is reduced when empty or when running. The noise
emitted is sensibly influenced by other machines in the installation site.
Besides this, the noise arising in a facility containing other running machines is influenced
by reflection, by absorption to dispersion of the walls, ceiling and flooring and of the objects
in general.
Measurements carried out on the machine that is running in the operator stations have
given the following values.
Measurements done at the operator stations with the machine running, gave the following
values:

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS K= 4 dB (A) measured according to EN ISO
3746:2009.
The values cited for noise are emission levels and not necessarily precise work levels,
whereas there is a correlation between levels of emissions and those of exposure and may
both be used in a reliable way to determine where further precautionary measures may be
required. These factors influence the real levels of exposure, characteristics of the
environment, other sources of noise, for example the number of machines, and other
adjacent work processing. Besides, the levels of exposures emitted may vary from country
to country. This information, however, allows the machine user to make a better
assessment of the dangers and risks involved.
