Removing the coin-cell battery
Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the left-side cover.
3. Remove the air shroud.
About this task

Steps
1. Using a plastic scribe, push the coin-cell battery securing-clip on the coin-cell battery socket to release the coin-cell battery.
2. Remove the coin-cell battery from the computer.
