Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the external solid-state drive assembly.
3. Remove the right-side cover.
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the front-NVMe module and provide a visual representation of the removal
procedure.
Steps
1. Disconnect the power cable (P5) and data cable from the connectors on the HSBP board.
2. Disconnect the thermal-sensor cable and fan-controller cable from the connectors on the power-distribution board.
