7.7 Temperature Calibration
Using TempChek
This section gives an overview of possible issues when calibrating the shaft sensors using a Distek
TempChek on the Model 2500 Dissolution System. To ensure consistent performance, follow the
recommended possible solutions given for a specific problem.

Check the battery (9 volt) of the TempChek. Replace if necessary.
Check the serial cable integrity. Replace if necessary.
Check the internal serial cable integrity and connection. Check
the orientation of the internal serial cable going to the single
board computer (SBC).
Faulty single board computer (SBC). Replace if necessary.
