TCS Calibration Using Reference
Requirements:
User with Manager level access
Calibrated NIST traceable thermometer
Bath appropriately filled and heated to 37°C
Vessels installed
If equipped with wireless sensors, perform Lo-Cal of shafts first with bath
temperature between 20-23°C.
The sample screen shots below are similar for Model 2500 with or without the
wireless sensor option.
Place the TempChek probe as close as possible next to the external probe inside the bath.
In the TCS Calibration screen, the parameter "Probe" defaults to "Internal". This means the
temperature sensor inside the circulator will be calibrated first.

Select
Ref. Tem p °C.
Use the on-screen keypad to enter the value shown on the reference
thermometer.
Select
Ca libra te
to start the calibration of the TCS internal sensor. Notice that the "
Ref-
Ca l
" date is updated.
Change the probe parameter to "
Externa l
". Repeat step t1 and t2 to start the calibration
of the TCS external sensor.
After calibration of TCS sensors is complete, select
Done
to exit the calibration screen;
otherwise, if equipped with wireless sensors, select
Sha ft Ca libra tion
to continue.
