2.7 Paddle Installation
To install the paddle blades, follow the procedure below:
1 Raise the drive unit.
2 Carefully screw a paddle blade clockwise onto the bottom of each shaft. Tighten the
paddle blade securely. Assemble finger tight only.
Paddle installation
If paddle blades are serialized, follow the Production Final Test report for
spindle location.
Distek supplies highly uniform paddle blades that fit properly into the Model
2500 shafts. Use of paddle blades other than those supplied by Distek for the
Model 2500 may result in unsatisfactory height adjustment.
