Shaft Sensor Calibration Using Reference

When performing shaft calibration, a two step calibration is needed to achieve

accurate shaft temperature calibration. Perform a Lo-Cal between 20 to 23 °C and a Hi-

Cal around 41 °C.

Fill the vessels with at least 900mL DI water with temperature between 20°C to 23°C. Follow the

steps below to calibrate the RTD shafts using a reference thermometer.

as shown.

3 Place the TempChek probe into vessel 1 and wait for temperature reading to equilibrate.
