• Cut the solid registration roller shaft to the
length, (‘A’
dimension + 58mm) and de-burr
the cut surface
• Cut the roller tube to length (‘A’
dimension -
75mm)
• Assemble the tube and the 2 bearing
housings, applying Loctite 638 (high strength
retainer) to the side of the tube before
pushing the housing into position. Wipe away
any excess Loctite
• Assemble the solid registration shaft to the
second registration end plate, using 2xM10
plain washers and the locking hand wheel.
The screw thread should pass completely
through the hand wheel
• Position the shaft assembly at one end of the
slot and locate by firmly tightening the hand
wheel
• Slide the roller onto the shaft and position
using the locking collar
• Slide the gear onto end of the shaft, but do
not fix with screws
• Slide an M10 plain washer onto shaft after
the gear
• Attach the combined roller and registration
plate to the complete bracket assembly
using the mounting block and 2xM6x20
screws
• Make sure the loose gear is positioned correctly in the rack
