• Fit the gear onto the shaft,
applying Loctite 242 to each M4
set screw and tighten
• Run the roller up and down the
rack, checking that it runs freely
and there is no excessive play
along the shaft in any position.
Excessive movement indicates
the main bracket end frame has
not been assembled in parallel
• Assemble the remaining parts of
the hand wheel assembly
• Run the M10 full nut along the
registration shaft; applying Loctite
242 to the threaded part of the
shaft, before adding the hand
knob and tightening the M10 full
nut against it using a 17mm
wrench
