Diverting Rollers
These will be used to allow the print substrate to route through the bracket assembly.
There are three counter-bored holes around the end plate. Decide the best combination of
roller positions to achieve the maximum substrate wrap-around of the print roller. Each
roller is made up of a tube, 2 bearing housings and 2 bearing pin assemblies.
• The tube must be cut to a length of dimension ‘A‘ minus 75mm
• Assemble the tube and the 2 bearing
housings using Loctite 638 (high strength
retainer) to the side of the tube before
pushing the housing into position
• Wipe away any excess Loctite
• Finally, tighten each end holding the bearing
pin stationary
• Tighten the screw using a 5mm hex wrench
• After fitting the diverting rollers, the bracket will look like the example below:
