Hold the encoder standoff with a
13mm open ended wrench and
loosely assemble the encoder arm
and encoder using the M6 nut and
washer
Fit the encoder cable to the encoder
Tighten the M6 nut using a 10mm
wrench whilst holding the other end of
the shaft using a 4mm wrench
Make sure the encoder cable and
connector does not restrict the
encoder movement or foul on the
substrate
Loosen the M3 screw at the end of the
encoder standoff
Adjust the end of the encoder standoff
so that the encoder arm is under
tension then tighten the M3 screw
The encoder arm when under tension
will have moved by around 2mm
Check that the movement is around
5mm - if not re-adjust
