SmartDate X40 Continuous Printhead Position Adjustment
The default Printhead position when the SmartDate X40 is mounted on a standard
Markem-Imaje bracket is 1mm before the centerline. The Printhead position can be
adjusted for non-standard brackets or when trying to improve poor print quality. See page
149.
If the adjustment required is less than 10mm follow the procedure below.
Loosen the Printhead carriage fixing
screws
Move the carriage to the new position
Tighten the Printhead carriage fixing
screws
Check the Printhead position
